Harmony’s Story….
HARMONY has been playing weddings,
private parties, festivals and fund raisers in the Capital
District/Saratoga/Lake George region for over 20 years. Michael
Guidarelli started the band in 1985, playing mostly in the Schenectady
area. Over the years Mike has continued
to stretch the band’s repertoire, bringing in the best and brightest musician’s
the area has to offer. HARMONY has developed a reputation for
its musicianship and professionalism.
Playing all over the Capital District, Lake George, Vermont and the
Catskills, HARMONY continues to
provide consistent quality performances.
Mike Guidarelli is the founding member and leader of HARMONY. In addition to fielding inquiries from
prospective clients, negotiating contracts and balancing our busy schedules,
Mike plays guitar and sings harmony and lead vocals. With over twenty years of experience, Mike has a great way of
leading each party to the best dance music available.
Todd Sardella has been playing keyboard,
bass keys, and singing with Harmony since he was in high school. Now twenty years later, he is one of the
best performers in the capital district.
Todd holds an extensive music library in his fingertips, playing
everything from the big band swing era to today’s pop hits. Gifted with a great singing voice and
perfect pitch, Todd’s ability to play is only outdone by his ability to arrange
music on the spot!
For the past 13 years HARMONY has been fortunate to offer the talents of Mary Beth Salmeri as our lead
singer. Mary Beth is gifted with an
excellent voice, AND a genuine gift for creating a warm and fun atmosphere at
our events. MB has performed with many
groups over the past 25 years, including Cinema
(Hartford, CT); Artistry (Danbury,
CT); Partners in Crime (Hartford and
NYC), and Capital District groups including The
Phil Restifo Quintet as well as Lois
and the Kryptonytes. When she’s not
singing with HARMONY, MB works with
local club bands, Real Radio and Mixed Message.
The HARMONY horn section features
Linden Gregory on Saxophone and Mark
Eiser on Trumpet. Linden taught in
the Scotia-Glenville school district, performs with the Adirondack Saxophone
Quartet, and is an adjunct music professor at SCCC. . Mark conducted the Rotterdam Town Band for
the past 10 years. Both Mark and Linden have performed with national
touring companies at Proctors, SPAC and around the Capital District including Gladys Knight & The
Pips, Barry Manilow, The Philadelphia Orchestra and many others.
John Tasick is the heartbeat of HARMONY. He has been
playing drums with a number of groups around the capital district, but for the
past 12 years he’s been drumming the beat for HARMONY. The Drummer is the
dancer’s most important asset. You can
take John’s skills to the bank!
